How S-LAB helps you maintain lab efficiency through automation

Our S-LAB automated plate handler offers you a versatile, customisable way of linking modular pieces of equipment together. The on-board computer is capable of tracking and loading plates into simple benchtop instruments, such as the Thermo Multidrop range, use of the API from an external program such as Overlord allows control of a range of other instruments such as thermal cyclers and DNA sequencers.

S-LAB works seamlessly with a large and growing number of genomics equipment from different manufacturers.

S-LAB seamlessly integrates with qPCR platforms

High-throughput screening, multiplex detection, quantifying nucleic acids, and probing SNPs and genetic variations are just a few applications using qPCR. Its use is growing significantly in drug discovery, biomarker validation, ctDNA analysis, and measuring pathogen load for personalised medicine and point-of-care testing in the clinic.

The Roche LightCycler 480 and the Applied BiosystemsQuantStudio 7 are two well-regarded qPCR platforms, and both have been successfully integrated with our S-LAB plate handler. This enables a host of applications, including:
